Finding local caterers and to order a catering shouldn’t be too hard. That’s the reason Melbourne startup exist to change the way people order catering.

Caternow is a catering marketplace which makes it easy to feed your friends, family, employees, guest and associates by finding local caterers who are ready to serve awesome food for your party, event, meeting, office lunch, training, school function, wedding or family gathering.

It all started a year ago when founder’s (Divyesh Amipara) wife (Trupti) was searching caterers for their daughter’s birthday. She spent days searching caterers meeting her requirements but couldn’t find one so finally after all the frustration she decided to cook on her own for 35 plus guests. This may be the situation of many other families who couldn’t find reliable and suitable caterer when they need it. After that incident, the birth of Caternow happened to bring awesome catering from local caterers when someone needs them the most.

Currently, if you have a party at home or other function and looking for catering then you have to search caterers on internet (unless you know some caterer who will bring same food each time), then shortlist them, call each one of them to find out price and fix the menu, sometimes you need to go to taste the food, negotiate the price. This whole process is too tiring.

Founder DK believes that there is a gap in the market and wants to provide an easy method of finding a caterer. He basically wants to disrupt the catering industry by providing a solution to the problem of finding local caterers when you need and order catering easily through the website and mobile apps. At the end, customers and corporate clients will have more choice of awesome food than just sandwiches and wraps.

Food is a big part of our culture so Caternow wants to make sure that it easy for you to order catering for all the occasions including anniversary party, baby shower, barbecue or picnic, birthday party, bridal shower, business meeting, corporate event, exhibition, family gathering, fundraiser function, graduation party, holiday party, office luncheon, religious event, school function or wedding.
